I spent my life in the law. I have seen judgments that I found difficult to explain to lay people, and some with which I profoundly disagreed, but never before have I come across decisions that make me feel ashamed to be a British lawyer.

1) When we no longer have a shared reality a judgement that is made in the other is not understandable from a different viewpoint. It seems to me that the current legal system cannot function correctly in this new paradigm. In my view the misogyny assessment is incorrect.

Zoe Watts (who is mentioned in this piece) was due to be sentenced on 29th June, but I've not been able to discover the sentence. Is anyone aware of the sentence they received?
