The Twitter API was historically one of the fun places to build new and interesting stuff. No more. Recently they killed 3rd party apps, now they’re killing all free access to the API.
Simultaneously I’ve just been looking at the open #Mastodon API to code something fun with.

These unsealed US court docs are important to understanding the issues behind Cambridge Analytica. They weren’t alone in data harvesting from Facebook, there were more including in hostile foreign states. Facebook has done all it can to prevent the release of this information.
