Multiple people have reached out to me privately to say they got in. Every project has been a Hololens app that is being paid to port to Magic Leap. It also seems 100% productivity / work focused apps. I’m curious to see what else surfaces.https://twitter.com/JBergounhoux/status/1097743854571343874 …

Things certainly work differently at Magic Leap! Having won (and lost my share) of these things, usually the winners/projects are announced on the date (and at the same time as the rejections). I hope the upcoming info will be dense / sufficient to help future applicants!

We hope to have more future indie funds and competitions - this was a first step

I feel that releasing feedback would be helpful - comments or even if just numbers scored in each judging category. I only spent a weekend - but it's time I could have spent building something awesome instead of applying to be rejected without understanding what went wrong.

I wouldn't focus on getting feedback. You don't "lose" time spent on writing up a grant (I've written several). You now have a bunch of content you can easily re-use for your next grant or application.

Hey don’t knock Porgs! A little independent developer called ILMxLAB from a galaxy far, far away spent a long time conceiving, coding, caring and creating that fun title that was released today. It’s a big tent for developers large and small.
