A sizeable segment of gig workers, atleast in India, are full time workers. The only way these unprofitable platforms can meet their monoply ambitions is by mass hiring workers with no protections. Doesn't matter how they spin it, everyone can see through their blatant lies.(2/2)

Moreover the claim of 'flexibility' in gig work is a LIE. In India, zone managers will call a gig worker to login if demand is high. Some platforms levy penalties if a job is cancelled. Many workers stick to 1 platform because incentives are based on full/half time shifts. (1/2)
