This is very disturbing, and thanks for covering. But for accuracy's sake, Rhodesia never had 'apartheid' as a set of policies, that was South Africa. They had racial segregation, but it wasn't called apartheid.
Our understanding of apartheid is that it's a term that can be used to describe racial segregation in contexts outside of SA, which this was, but we have edited the piece to use different terms now. Thanks!
No violation of the code of conduct @HarjitSajjan ? I trained in the days when our disgrace in Somalia was unfolding and it wasn’t uncommon for me to see swastikas chalked on vehicles or unformed members using a heil hitler salute. Get these pieces of garbage out of the CF!
If that is not a violation of the Canadian armed forces' code of conduct, then the code needs to be changed.

Rhodesia was not white supremists. Black people had the freedom to vote, get out of slavery and own properties that white people owned. No surprised that media is jumping on the bandwagon.
