    I will say that norms are for the normal. To be exceptional, you must be exceptional. Seems simple, but apparently it isn't. Find YOUR voice. Not mine or someone else's. You can only go as far as the person you're following, but if you chart your own ground, you can go anywhere!

    One question I'm often asked, is how I lasted 31 in the music business. Truth is, I don't know for sure. I've been fortunate, had a strong team, been authentic, but I just don't know, especially since things have changed soooooo much thru the years. I have ALWAYS trusted God. 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Since 1988, when we began, we've encountered so much. The good, the bad & ugly...but continued anyway, because of God's goodness. These 31 years have been such a blessing. I was so busy last year that we didn't have a 30th anniversary event. This year, we'll make it up.

    Believe it or not, I started my choir 31 years ago! 1988, New G burst on the scene, and caused quite a stir early on. We were boycotted for a while in Chicago, but some older pastors for dancing, as it wasn't accepted in churches, like now. I even made several apologies. 🤷🏾‍♂️
