Given the extraordinary rise in public antisemitism on the right, a critical article about a *black* politician’s efforts to learn more is....curious. The Holocaust museum is a pretty intense place. Perhaps he was overwhelmed?

Yes. He left 45 minutes into a 90-minute tour, and seemed not to have much prior knowledge about the Holocaust or Nazi ideology. I’m just unimpressed by this article’s critical outlook. Lots of white people in elected office believe some pretty wild things.
