  Mueller and Rosenstein know exactly what they’re doing. They knew that raid last week would provoke Trump to fire Rosenstein. I doubt they would not know the scenarios if that happens.

  Yeah. As he petitions SCOTUS to rule on an issue not before it (removal of any official by POTUS) as SCOTUS is looking at a narrow issue - it’s clear what role he’d play with Mueller’s appointment.
