If the corporation doesn't still exist, I don't see how it can sue in court.

That name doesn’t appear if you search Delaware incorporation records on-line—is that the full name?
The actual name is Essential Consultants, LLC. It shows up on the Delaware SOS website, but they charge you $10 to tell you the corporate status (which is bullshit). 
I agree—that would be public record in NC and free to view. Delaware gonna Delaware, I guess.
