So now I'm starting to wonder what's taking Justice Alito so long in the PA congressional redistricting case. Maybe he's referred to the whole Court and someone is writing?

Wouldn't it be strange if he referred the case to the whole court this time when, last time, even though the relevant issues were identical, he dismissed the complaint out of hand? There seem to be no relevant differences that would cause a different outcome.

Oh, I think Alito would regard "worse than expected for Republicans" as a relevant difference.
