This whole “you cant force company X to not do business with company Y by threatening a boycott” is to fundamentaly misunderstand the way that the free market can shape the way businesses act.

It’s the willingness to undermine the fundamental nature of the 1st Amendment lest _any_ regulation be applied to the 2nd Amendment that exposes the rot here. Let alone any willingness to acknowledge that ‘well regulated militia’ is even mentioned.

It's called a 'marketplace of ideas' not an 'oligarchy of ideas' To win, your idea is supposed to 'sell' better, not be picked to succeed by entrenched interests. Ideal markets don't have a status quo bias.

I’m sorry but the argument that free speech means that media shouldn’t be *culturally and economically* sanctioned for abhorrent views is one of the most destructive and widely held beliefs by the right. And honestly by many in the center.
