I’ve seen nothing that justifies the assumption that Trump was not a co-conspirator. Too the contrary, Trump’s refusal to impose sanctions looks like his end of the quid pro quo.

Agree. Also, I think the route to Trump himself - if it exists - goes through Donald Jr., and/or Jared Kushner, given their personal and political connections to him, and their financial connections to Russia through their respective business activities.
