This was widely reported at the time. He was sworn in on 4/8/17. There was a conference on 4/13/17 (see calendar: https://www.supremecourt.gov/oral_arguments/2016TermCourtCalendar.pdf …). He skipped the conference to prepare for the first arguments on 4/17/17.
