Anyone in elite law world out there want to vouch for Noel Francisco's integrity? (asking non-trollingly. genuinely curious)

I don’t know Noel Francisco as well as Rachel Brand, but he enjoys an excellent reputation overall (even if one disagrees with his politics and/or stances of the SG under Trump). That said, I don’t know what he’d do if asked to fire Mueller.

Some pundits are saying that the Solicitor General would be next in line after Brand in supervising Mueller (after Rosenstein is out of the picture). They are wrong. And Trump can reset the line of succession by executive order:http://billmoyers.com/story/mueller-trump-ultimate-lawsuit/ …

My reading - correct me if I’m wrong,
@chrisgeidner@ZoeTillman - is that the most recent Trump executive order on this subject revoked Trump’s earlier revocation (also by EO) of the Obama/Lynch order of succession. -
The only thing that has changed is the US Attorney fill-ins — but they’re *below* the AG’s list, which remains undisturbed. The issue earlier was there were no Senate-confirmed folks running the divisions, so no one was eligible to be Acting AG w/in the AG succession list.

Noel has since been confirmed and, hence, is eligible.

Correcting earlier tweet: SG Francisco is now next in line after Brand to supervise Mueller and/or execute a Trump directive to fire Mueller. When I wrote in June, Francisco had not yet been confirmed. Now he’s eligible to succeed Brand under Nov 2016 DOJ internal memo.
