It has been established that 39 state voter databases were hacked by Russian proxies. Would you recommend that we return to paper poll books instead of using e-poll books? Also, that we return to hand-counted paper ballots?

Paper poll books aren’t a solution to people being improperly removed from the voting rolls. Election Day registration is.
-
You have a good point. However, VR Systems in Tallahassee FL was hacked by Russians in 2016. They provided election software management for several key states including e-poll books. We have to protect against hacking & register millions more people to vote, especially millenials
-
I agree, but paper poll books offer no advantage over e-poll books if the source of the data is compromised.
-
The paper poll books could be checked in advance. This is a difficult dilemma cause there were problems in Florida in 2016 where some registered voters were sent to the wrong precinct or not on the e-poll books at all.
-
Checked against what? If the paper poll books are generated from a database that has been tampered with, what good are they?
-
This is a dilemma to solve. You are right. However, e-poll books may be able to be hacked in real time & that is worse. There is the issue of potential hacking before the poll books are printed out vs as the election progresses w/ e-poll books. We need redundant systems.
