Fri could bring action from SCOTUS on two stay requests in big redistricting cases. At noon, plaintiffs respond to NC GOP leaders request to stay new legislative maps drawn by special master. Then at 4 pm, response is due to PA GOP request to stay gerrymandering ruling. #fairmaps
I wouldn't expect rulings that day----don't you think they'd give time till Monday for a reply?

Maybe - but both arguments (especially in the PA case) are weak. Besides, I'm on a plane that afternoon, so I figure that increases the likelihood of action.
