It's actually a fairly important statement/release. Previously, the concerns cited were security related, protecting sources. In this one they're specifically calling out that the statements in the memo are "cherry-picked", even after only a cursory review.

Good point! Upon reflection "grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo's accuracy" is very strong stmt indeed, though still very general about what is inaccurate or omitted.

True. They probably have to be careful weighing the classification of the intel with trying to impart how it was cherry picked. This whole affair has significant impact across all the intel communities WRT FIS sharing intel with the US.
