LOL at the idea that Trump would be in the weeds enough to order repeal of the governing regs. Remember that the Deputy WH Counsel let him think (wrongly) that he needed cause to fire Comey. He had no idea what the governing law was.

right. So probably, what? He shouted "fire Mueller" and people had to explain they couldn't do exactly that?

I read NYT story to suggest he told McGahn to tell Rosenstein to fire Mueller and McGahn refused.
