What's much worse than Trump saying "shithole" is him thinking that and designing American immigration policy around it. Let's not get caught up on the naughty word and ignore the substance.

Let's also not merely talk about him saying "naughty" words but HOW it was used -- application to Haiti and African countries. Him saying "shithole" alone isn't the issue.

Salvadorans and Haitians who have built lives here, who have families here, are being kicked out of the country because the President harbors these views. That's the consequence of the President's overt racism.

Not only that, the WH statement mentioned "assimilation" as an important consideration, confirming that their positions are entirely racist.

Maybe he’ll build off of how Canada “assimilated” First Nation’s children in residential schools?? Seriously this man is evil. It is vile to hear someone in 2018 even say that word.

the language is tough, butcan't deny it's accuracy. We need to vet carefully and we owe no obligation for unfettered immigration.

I agree to a point...but I contend that an American President should never use such f***ed up language. He needs to held accountable by Congress

Perhaps what’s REALLY the worst is he feels empowered enough to say that out loud. Imagine how he really feels.
