There are well meaning people on all sides, Democrats, Republicans and election professionals, who want to make things better, improve the voting experience, prevent fraud, and make it more secure.
Lots of people and organizations working in this policy space including Bauer-Ginsberg folks, Pew, @BPC_Bipartisan, @beckerdavidj , @HHHElections, @DemocracyFund @aztammyp @persily, @johncfortier1 @AdamAmbrogi
So much good will to make things better with our elections
The demise of Pence-Kobach makes real reform more, not less likely, as the charlatans lose respectability and air time and the need for election reform, especially now protecting our voting systems from external hacking, is DIRE.
the social science work of @gronke @mcdonald @cstewartiii and many more who are trying to improve the field of election SCIENCE can help. Plus cyber security experts. We need reason and professionalism, not tales of "alien invasions"
There is huge vote tampering but it’s the republicans that are doing it. See @mikefarb1 and @jennycohn1
You apparently have not read @mikefarb #unhackthevote OR @jennycohn1 regarding voting machines and failures of agencies that are failing the voters of this country.
Really sounds like an attempt to erase the history of those who have done every thing imaginable, including murdern to stop some from voting. It should never be forgotten or wrapped into a both sides solution.
Why do we make what should be in theory a pretty simple process so complicated? I believe it could be drastically more straightforward if we do get at universal voter registration, national voter ID, and nonpartisan districting (gerrymandering)
Is a zero sum game for those who rely on gerrymandering and voter suppression to win.
