John Merrill, Alabama's GOP SoS, got some criticism for being too quick to probe and publicize allegations of voter fraud that looked to be nothing. That Moore is now accusing him of not doing enough to investigate voter fraud is really striking.
As you quoted me saying, it is to everyone's advantage for call claims of voter fraud, even if not credible,to be investigated for just this reason
