More important than him replying or responding to me is a response from him on the merits of Alabama law. What is it that I, @derektmuller and an Alabama election handbook supposedly get wrong about whether U.S. Senate candidates can request recounts?

He blocked me for saying he shouldn’t block his own constituents!
He blocked me for correcting him when he said he wasn't aware of a history of his state denying qualified people the right to vote.
Depends on the definition of “qualified.” To him, I suspect that means “white.”
This is bananas.
A man who ran to the Alabama Supreme Court to make sure he had the ability to destroy vote records is clearly not a man interested in transparency or experts or law. Or democracy itself for that matter.
Sigh. You're a gentleman, but transparency may be a foreign concept in those parts.
