People who say money in elections doesn't matter (because, look, Jeb! lost): Today's tax drafting fiasco is best evidence $ buys donors and lobbyists access to help sneak in provisions that no one pays attention to until it is too late but sometimes are worth billions of dollars.

Argues for public financing, no lobbyist fundraising, & new ban on committee contributionshttps://www.americanprogress.org/issues/democracy/reports/2017/11/30/443490/corporate-donors-get-tax-breaks-5-ways-fight-back/ …

Every lobbyist who writes such a special provision that benefits a handful of people and costs the rest of us, and every Senator who sponsors it, should be called out for their hatred of the 🇺🇸. The USA is all of us, not just them.

I dont understand this. How can it ever be "too late"? Its never too late for a politician to lose their credibility in the eyes of the voters and its never too late to change the law.

        1) How can we identify and "out" the big donors so we can protest them as they are the real legislators passing laws that impact us all. 2) How do we break the power of gerrymandering and the incumbency? 3) How do we turn more people from spectators to participants in democracy
