  As a Republican, I reject the idea of a special election. GOP made this mess, and they should pay the price, and learn a lesson. My friends in AL are voting for Jones! If I had time, I'd go observe this election for fairness. Likely reasons to be vigilant.

  Even without the 17th amendment, this makes no sense. Strange’s seat and Sessions’s seat ARE THE SAME SEAT. The scheduled election is for this seat, period.
