It will never get to an expulsion vote. If (big if) Moore wins, it won't be in anyone's interest to push it.

I agree. If Moore is elected despite all of this stuff being known, it's a bad precedent of the senate ignoring a legitimate election because the guy is a human pile of garbage. I see no benefit to the dems to carrying water on expulsion.

Having Moore in the Senate is good for Dems politically. But if there is actually a vote (which would require Dem support to pass), having voted to keep him in the Senate would be even more politically costly for them.
