Yeah, I get it for the 17A issue, but that aside, I don't see why anyone would think that as a matter of state law (or logic) this would somehow enable the governor to cancel the election.

I think Eric's point, which I agree with, is -- are there any actual lawyers who think this is legit? I try to understand the arguments but I'm not seeing anything at all that passes the laugh test here.
