Not when an election has already started----military and overseas voters have been voting pursuant to federal law. More on public interest in not cancelling election here: http://electionlawblog.org/?p=95963 https://twitter.com/hughhewitt/status/930094104649744384 …

There IS a constitutional way to deal with problem of voters regretting primary vote for Moore: RNC can get behind write-in campaign for Luther Strange. Voting can continue, and if political will he wins.

This,
@hughhewitt, gives all voters a chance to participate in election already underway AND allows Republican majority to unite behind Republican candidate, as Alaska voters did with Murkowski write in after she lost primary to tea party guyShow this thread -
And even further,
@hughhewitt, I've argued that if Rs can convince Moore to drop out Republicans should be able to pick new candidate for general, so long as it wouldn't disenfranchise military voters http://electionlawblog.org/?p=95923 (Just as Ds did in NJ)Show this thread

I used your admire Hugh (I have a tweet proving he *was* one of my favorite conservatives) but he sold his soul on Gorsuch. He's gone.

His logic was that the campaign started. Well Trump is raising 2020 funds and having rallies so I guess he doesn't get to nominate judges now.

You'd think a fan of Cleveland sports would be able to take the "L" without changing the rules.
