Could you explain why it would be fairest? I don't see anything unfair about how the election has been conducted so far. And do see unfairness in cancelling already scheduled election. Bad precedent setting.https://twitter.com/hughhewitt/status/929447669235363840 …

Federal court overturning that new law and ordering election to be held. And, no small thing, it would be fairest to voters in Alabama.

Would it have been fairest to voters of the United States to postpone the election after the Comey letter? Or maybe declare HRC the winner regardless since she got more votes?

Right. What if days before a presidential election it is discovered a candidate did the same thing. Should the election be cancelled? No.

Hugh thinks it would be fairest because usually AL voters would elect a GOPer and here they might not do so because their candidate is a pedo.

Or they may do so DESPITE him being a pedo

There are no damn mulligans in voting. I think we learned that the hard way in 2016.

@hughhewitt GOP tries to cancel this thing and there WILL be lawsuits, and it'll be about as bad for the party as having this psycho as a senator. Your choices and actions have consequences. You allowed Bannon et al in. That's on you. Gonna have to take the L or expel him.

@hughhewitt I can see a federal judge doing that. You'd have to have a pretty good reason to cancel an election, and "because we think we're going to lose" is definitely not a good reason. That's called fascism. Y'all need to stop.
