Do a lot of people put tumeric on their steak as J. Gorsuch suggested? (I don't eat meat)https://twitter.com/stevenmazie/status/915354115475230720 …

Really different than O'Conner's Bandemer or Scalia's Vieth opinion? Their claim (which I don't agree with) is elections are messy, hard to separate redistricting effects

In the Voting Rights arena, many experts embrace O'Conner's Thornburg opinion by looking beyond mere correlation to determine racially polarized voting

It's a weird comment. Turmeric doesn't really have a strong enough flavor to make a good rub. I don't know anyone who uses it that way.

no. salt and pepper only. other spices may go on beef for various other uses, but steak? salt, pepper, done.

Turmeric only belongs on steak if you're making Thai or Indonesian sate. Useless in a steak rub except to make the mix proprietary

The recipes for knockoff Outback steakhouse dry rub includes turmeric. It's not bad, but it's not standard.
