3/ turnout effects are interesting, but legal question should be why state can make it harder to register or vote for no good reason

Past...there is a good reason. They don't want minorities to vote. But I bet Gorsuch privately thinks that's a damn fine reason.

An issue here is poll workers & how this law is applied by them,if most white pple aren't asked4ID but most POC are, it's a different issue.
