Oppo research, or info obtained via use of investigative resources, is clearly akin to polling & a "thing of value." I'm sold on that. /2

Is a whistleblower who comes forward w/ info they already had making an in kind contribution? Ofc, Russia got their info elsewhere. /5

But you're talking abt solicitation instead of hacking charges b/c nothing in the emails proves Jr knew abt the hacking (at that point). /6

And, sadly, the emails don't prove this info wasn't just pre-existing knowledge of wrongdoing, as opposed to investigative work product. /7
