yes I know But SCOTUS bar scrambling to hone in on cases pro bono to get loss leader oral argument time not a terrific system

They do try to help (in the sense of giving friendly Qs/answers in the form of Qs). It's a difficult problem; not sure I have a solution.

Another option is to do what CA2 just did in Zarda and have court appointed amici to present extra oral argument. Did it for both sides!
