If a Senator refuses to provide client services (eg letters to VA) on protected basis, does that violate Constitution?

Is there a remedy? Mandamus to provide constituent services seems... dubious.

But that's true regardless of basis for refusal. Office could deny help "Too busy" without Const implication.

But why is muting/blocking different than constituent services. Aren't they all discretionary methods to petition elected officials?

I agree, at least as far as muting. There might be an argument that blocking is a form of stigma from our government actor

I see the theory, but the generic harm of "I've been blocked on twitter but some rando" is so low. Are block lists even public?

Don't think so. The harm would come from recieving the block notice. But it's not like that states the unconstitutional reasoning.
