One problem with current state of affairs: Trump still has the confirmation bias of his supporters on his side.
What I'd like to see is some evidence whether Trump's claims that the media is lying about polls, etc. are gaining or losing him credibility

It's hard to predict when or if anything will happen that challenges their worldview (which involves lots of assumed causality)…
