SCOTUS: ICYMI, Thomas completed the 1st week of his 10th year of not asking any questions from the bench.

@rickhasen But his silence implies a pre-ordained view, and also seems cowardly. -
.
@kckitty Disagree. Justice Thomas does not seem afraid of questions in public settings. Do you think Scalia views less pre-ordained? RBG's? -
@rickhasen Who cares what Thomas says in public settings. I am not questioning Scalia (separate issue) and now you drag in RGB? -
.
@kckitty What Thomas says in public settings shows he is not afraid of give and take. And Scalia and RGB have pretty set ideological views -
.
@kckitty I probably disagree with J. Thomas more than any other Justice. But no reason to question his motives, smarts, or engagement. -
@rickhasen Okay, but your backing of a Supreme Justice who barely passed the@ABA threshold seems weird. -
.
@kckitty Justice Thomas has been on Court since 1990. We have enough evidence now to know if he's competent to decide cases. He is.

@rickhasen@jostonjustice the J. Thomas no-questions thing is the biggest non-issue in SCOTUS coverage. Ridiculous to devote time to it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
