The good news is that substantively the Iowa caucuses are low stakes. And these mess ups were the Democratic Party, not Iowa election officials who will be running things in November. But we sure do have some places in the US where there are serious concerns about competence.
The bottom line is that there are nine months to try to improve things and explain better and make transparent the whole process of casting and counting votes.
The mindset I push in #ElectionMeltdown is TRIAGE.
