This point keeps coming up. It's a great question. If not Kav, then Judge, right? Or someone else in that circle who cooperated in concocting this story?https://twitter.com/hueylad/status/1043171506241646592 …

Rick, while it could be Kavanaugh or Mark Judge, there’s a wider circle of suspects including Senate Judiciary GOP staff (eg Hatch’s). Ford gave names of other 2 people to WaPo. She presumably also gave them to Senate. Senate staff has apparently contacted those two people. 👇🏼pic.twitter.com/i7CdrU3pPz

Didn’t he posit that it could have been that house, but not definitely that house. Like the floor plans fit the description of Dr Ford, and its proximity to the Country Club was speculative, the way I read it.

Senator Hatch implicated WAPo story "Whelan also worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee from 1992 to 1995 as a senior staffer to Sen. Orrin G. Hatch (Utah), then the panel’s top Republican, according to congressional testimony he gave in 2015." Hatch & Kavanaugh floated this

It seems possible to me that someone on House Judiciary (Hatch or his staffer) could have this information. But first question is why anyone should believe Whelan when he says he didn't talk to Kavanaugh or White House about his libelous alibi concoction?

Worse is that #kavanaugh, who wants to be on the SUPREME COURT was on board with this slanderous false accusation to save his pathetic skin! He had no problem throwing an innocent man to the wolves, jeopardizing this man’s reputation and career. Kavanaugh has NO integrity
