Did Sen. Harris ever offer any evidence/following on the Kavanaugh-Kasowitz lawyer alleged conversation? Seems odd to harp on it so much with nothing then released.

Didn’t someone report that Kavanaugh’s good friend works at that firm? I’ll look for a link.

One theory is that those Qns could have caused him to purger himself later a basis for an impeachment hearing after Dems have taken back the presidency or house/sen, and that it was better to have him in record lying now because R-controlled committee will approve no matter what.

I'm not saying she's Joe McCarthy, but her questions to Kavanaugh about Kasowitz Benson Torres (which started as "Have you ever discussed", then changed to "Were you ever part of a conversation") sure seemed McCarthy-esque.https://twitter.com/KDbyProxy/status/1037849979820359683 …

NEWS: Senator Kamala Harris (seen here at left) today again accused SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh of secretly speaking to someone at Kasowitz Benson Torres, even as she again refused to reveal the name of her source or any document to support her accusation. pic.twitter.com/OvZ7TJ39AG

I went back and watched that, and I think part of the reason she jumped on it the way she did was because he was so shifty in answering the question. I think Dems knew of the friendship and wanted to ask the question, but it was Ks shiftiness that made her go full prosecutor.

https://www.kasowitz.com/people/edward-e-mcnally/ … I felt it clearly indicated Brett Kavanaugh had conversations with Edward McNally concerning the Russia investigation. If you are aware that Marc E. Kasowitz’s clients at Kasowitz Benson Torres include Oleg Deripaska, where Ed McNally is a partner. 💡

The Republicans withheld information from the Judiciary Committee. Then, this issue broke on Thursday evening & R's had over 60 women lined up to rebut. It's reasonable to believe they knew about this and, possible other issues being hidden from view.

*If* there is bombshell evidence it makes sense to hold it as long as possible. The later it gets the harder for the Senate to get someone else through before the chamber possibly flips. Running the clock would be savvy. *If* there is evidence.
