That article is full of specious presumptions about what BK would have known. It’s typical of Slate. It’s dreck. Why suggest it raises serious questions?

Well I write for @slate often and don’t consider what appears there dreck. And I think this piece raises serious issues about BK candor, if not dishonesty. So yes, worth reading. (Do they teach Yiddish in seminary?)

I’m aware you write for them and urge you not to. Their legal reportage is reliably nonsense. Surely you will see this if you read it. This article depends upon assuming that most secrets are stolen in DC. Please. It’s puerile.

I write for SLATE as well and their reporting, which from time to time includes Eric Posner and Rick, as well as other nationally respected scholars, and Dahlia Lithwick who is one of the best, and @mjs_DC who writes important pieces, is excellent. I'm surprised you feel this way

I'm not surprised at all. Just last week, William liked a tweet accusing Anita Hill of hatching false charges against Clarence Thomas as part of a liberal conspiracy. William is no moral or intellectual authority on anything. He's just another misogynistic, tribalist hack.pic.twitter.com/VVQA7RKIJe

I'm so sad to have found this thread, @wrdcsc. I engaged w/you in context of @DrJenGunter's tweets & thought you really wanted reasoned, respectful debate. You even made yourself out to be Twitter naive! I believed you and tried to be sympathetic. Shouldn't have fallen for it.

I am happy to have reasoned respectful debate. I don’t think Slate legal commentary is a good way to get there. A point I have made many times.

If you don’t think @Dahlialithwick and @rickhasen are two of the best SCOTUS commentators in the country, then you don’t know SCOTUS. And @mjs_DC covers the issues as well or better than most on the right and with integrity. So SLATE bash all you want but I disagree.
