Statistically the info would be interesting. Civil Law countries have that info. But in this case the motivation is base. It seems Repubs don’t want democracy they want dictatorship ... by them. Theocracy. Allegiance of even ‘accidental Americans’. Awful.

Not “need”. Congressional representation is by residents not citizen. Unfortunately motivated by a base intent: to have fewer non citizens counted. But hey, citizens abroad aren’t counted at all except for FATCA and CBT (citizen-based taxation, without effective citizen rights)
