    Missed this talk, but fully agree with this. We can't and shouldn't put monetary values on everything

    Fascinating talk from at on whether UK practitioners see “Ecosystem Services” as a bridge or barrier to marine management. I strongly echo the need for more inclusion of cultural and heritage aspects in ecosystem services!

    Interesting paper. Not been able to access yet... so tentative comment. Seems only environmental consequence of fishing is fuel used. Biodiversity aside (a future study), I'm far from convinced by that

    Applications for the best postdoc ever just opened: two year Smith Fellows in conservation $55K/yr salary + total of 8K for travel and $32K for research. Massive freedom to work on what you think is cool. Highly prestigious.
