RESIGN . San Francisco has suffered for a year, under the failed, destructive experiment in restorative justice.
Time to sign the petition and show no confidence in @chesaboudin . Chesa Must Resign. For the good of our city.

Is there a better data source? Looking into prosecution data and found that from 2019 to 2020, there’s been a 7% drop in filing rate, and an 8% drop in actions taken rate. BUT- files presented have dropped by 25%. Here’s my source:https://www.sfdistrictattorney.org/policy/da-stat/

25% drop in files presented means; relaxed laws make petty crime no longer presentable, lax laws means cops have stopped giving a crap, or SF is improving in eliminating crime. Hard to tell, I don’t have the needed context to say which is more likely. Thoughts?

I found numbers suggesting homicides are up 17% YoY https://www.sanfranciscopolice.org/sites/default/files/2021-01/SFPDCompstat.20210111.pdf …

Ingleside driving the homicide number way up (300% increase from 2 in 2019 to 8 in 2020). Rates are down in most other districts
