There are good companies out there. Part of the motivation for writing this was to help younger developers avoid the bad companies and go to the good ones.

Sure, but how does it help? It covers basically all categories with negative attributes, plus in my experience there is so much variance within a given category (at least of the ones I've experienced) that talking of it as a whole is just not possible.

It is radically different - thus the "100% disagree" above. There's nothing wrong with that, you brought your perspective, I did mine. I'm sure you have, as I said, your experience. It's useful to know that there is also other people with different, yet equally valid, experience.

But there are a lot of bad companies out there too. Perhaps I’m unlucky, or I’ve just seen too much. Every single one of these company types is based off 1 or more real-life instances.
