Was watching the old 90's sci-fi series "Earth: Final Conflict". It takes place in the 2020's, but it's loaded to the gills with bulky CRT monitors. You can tell the age of movie/TV productions by paying attention to the monitors used. Except for "2001" - Kubrick got it right.pic.twitter.com/XphFWe0sMq

I had a 20” flat CRT until ~2009. Weighed like 50 pounds, but was a really nice monitor… hard to part with.

Funny, I just started rewatching this a few days ago. They got the widescreen projector in the opening scene of the first episode correct at least. :)
