Not sure that it's a bad thing to give up. Why continue provoking NK in the area that's most sensitive just when there are hopes of new directions?
The Singapore summit statement is essentially aspirational: no definitions of denuclearization, no timelines, no details as to verification. What is most troubling about all this is that the US gave up something tangible, namely, US-RoK military exercises, in exchange.

Reminds me of the Paris Climate Agreement. All air, no concrete commitment, photo-ops for politicians to feel like they're doing something about the environment. See eh, politicians na scam artists.

That’s lovely, but illogical. He’s not aspiring to anything because he has no plan. Every president has aspired to peace, but they went into it with knowledge, a plan and the ability to form complex sentences. I am disgusted that trump is held in any esteem in comparison
