1/ Hi everyone! The debate in the last few weeks over anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial have been hard. It’s not been easy being a British Jew. Many have been supportive which I’m grateful for - but I want to channel into something constructive. I need your help please [THREAD]

I don't mind myself getting wet so much, but we canvass using a mix of electronics and paper; neither of which do well in these conditions 🙄

But, the Solent Sexual Health website is an absolute hotbed of tracking. DoubleClick, BlueKai, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, AddThis, Adobe, AppNexus, Vimeo - to name only some of the third parties that can track visits to

Following on from the Grindr story, I think we should have a conversation about . I feel like people should be able to look for sexual health advice, and testing services, in private.

This is utterly grim. Disgusting Islamaphobia. Ramadan is a time when children run up and down my street in the balmy evenings delivering food to all the houses. It is one of the nicest times of year.

Still, it is clear to all users that grindr has their email address, and any (optional, and public) profile info that they share. Contextually this doesn't feel tooooo problematic.

There is a subset of users, the anonymous profiles, for whom this might be more concerning, because these shared profiles are *not* anonymous, and in that sense increase the risk in a way that's not really justified.

So realistically, I don't think any user should have been under the impression that any profile data was in any way private. BUT

This case is interesting. At first glance it's horrendous. After an initial "zomgwtf" I think it's not as bad as it sounds. All grindr profile data is public - shared with literally anyone. Unlike eg tinder, there's not the concept of a match or a privileged group of contacts.

Coordinated transphobic trolls have been hammering at the LGBT+ LDs account for much of the last week; please share their post. We're proud to stand with Plus, and against anyone trying to push trans folk out of public life as these trolls want to. Trans rights are human rights.

People have approached us and told us they’re confused by this Gender Recognition Act stuff. “What’s all this about self ID?”, they ask us. “We are so confused!”, they say. With all the misinformation about, who can blame them? So settle in for tve Lib Dem guide to the GRA.

Good thread People also seem to hold LDs to a far higher standard than Labour and Tories for some reason. Plus on coalition they conveniently forget the numbers for a Lab-Lib coalition weren't there & Labour didn't want to compromise any policies to form one.
