    New idea: Dr. Seuss-inspired children's book about mobile advertising: Can we track you here and there? Can we track you anywhere? Can we track you in your house? Can we track you with a mouse? Would you, could you, In your car? Track you! Track you! There you are!

    I don't mind myself getting wet so much, but we canvass using a mix of electronics and paper; neither of which do well in these conditions 🙄

    A rather damp canvassing session today, but lots of really positive support from residents 😁 working hard, all year round, even in the rain 🌧

    But, the Solent Sexual Health website is an absolute hotbed of tracking. DoubleClick, BlueKai, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, AddThis, Adobe, AppNexus, Vimeo - to name only some of the third parties that can track visits to

    This is utterly grim. Disgusting Islamaphobia. Ramadan is a time when children run up and down my street in the balmy evenings delivering food to all the houses. It is one of the nicest times of year.

    Appalling to see a DUP Member of Parliament re-tweet such appalling - it's not like he doesn't know who or what he was RT-ing. This party has a pact with the Conservative party - and what will happen? Nothing.

    Still, it is clear to all users that grindr has their email address, and any (optional, and public) profile info that they share. Contextually this doesn't feel tooooo problematic.

    There is a subset of users, the anonymous profiles, for whom this might be more concerning, because these shared profiles are *not* anonymous, and in that sense increase the risk in a way that's not really justified.

    This case is interesting. At first glance it's horrendous. After an initial "zomgwtf" I think it's not as bad as it sounds. All grindr profile data is public - shared with literally anyone. Unlike eg tinder, there's not the concept of a match or a privileged group of contacts.

    Hookup app Grindr, which has more than 3.6 million daily active users across the world, has been providing its users’ HIV status to two other companies!!

    Good thread People also seem to hold LDs to a far higher standard than Labour and Tories for some reason. Plus on coalition they conveniently forget the numbers for a Lab-Lib coalition weren't there & Labour didn't want to compromise any policies to form one.

    Utter rubbish, and now I'm going to use my tea break to tear it to shreds.
