    Putin must be held accountable for his actions – for initiating a war of aggression (crimes against peace) and possibly for targeting civilians, too (war crimes). At very least, he should not be allowed to travel, his assets should be frozen or seized, including his prized yacht

    UK took the first step in banning AEROFLOT from UK airspace. All European countries should follow suit. Private Russian aircraft should also be banned from European airspace.

    Sanctions announced so far by the UK, EU & US are welcomed & mark a step in the right direction. But now we must go further. Russia’s leadership, institutions & economy must feel the full force of sanctions. It’s time for the next level, including cutting Russia off from SWIFT.
