This is bizarre. I grew up in Alabama and I think all of our beaches are free. I’ve never seen a beach that charged entry in Florida either.

In Massachusetts, public beaches generally charge for parking, but access on foot is free.

Towns in south jersey make a lot of money charging tourists to use their beaches.
