Also a massive shout out to our VFX supervisor Craig Clarke and all of our amazing effects houses that put this whole season together. This is one of those shows that doesn’t look VFX heavy but absolutely is, and they did great work.

This was the same team as the pilot of shooting and editing. Another huge shout out to our production designer Judy Rhee, besides the motel set, she built “the spot”. (!!!!)

This is my first time working on set with since Looper. I love this man. To have a lifelong friend and collaborator like Joe is really a gift. And we both got such a kick out of him playing a bad guy, lotta laughter on set.

This was the first episode we shot, before the pilot. We shot in upstate NY on the cusp of spring, and the leaves were starting to grow back on the trees. It was a race. Every bit of snow in this ep is fake - all hail our amazing art departments, on set fx and post vfx.

Ahhhh you’re right! I’m dumb! Tim Russ did amazing work as Max in the episode with just a few brief scenes, and immediately sets the tone for the whole thing. Tim rocks!! ♥️♥️
