I really need a reality show of this production process.

I know sounds to good to be true but let's hope they don't let "Ruin Johnson" touch it.

OMG SAVING THIS GIF. And yes, truth.
-
Man that was a good GIF no joke. I'm afraid the only thing I have to match it are some boring facts. Fact 1. "Soylo" lost $80 Million Fact 2. This means you TLJ fans either couldn't be bothered to see it or you did see it proving you are a minority in the fan-base.
-
Or they released it less than six months after the last movie in the middle of the hardest part of the year to compete. Or people just weren’t as interested in an origin story about Han Solo. I liked it, but it wasn’t necessary. Boba Fett is what they talked about next. Yawn.
-
I agree nobody asked for a "Soylo" movie but they made it anyway and hardest part of the year my "presumptuous arse" a Star Wars movie lost money and it's not like it was competing with the avengers tell me what movies took away customers exactly.

Rian, you know after I watched TLJ, I said that the moment when Luke throws the light sabre away was the kind of thing Mel Brooks would do if he was making a sequel to Spaceballs
-
It was the last thing we saw his character do with his lightsaber the last time he was in a Star Wars movie
-
Alternatively it was a humorous moment, and an excellent visualization that Luke had undergone a serious character transformation since we saw him last.
-
Serious character transformation. Shown as a humorous moment. Okay...?
-
.. Yes? That’s not an uncommon form of showing character transformation.
-
The same effect could have been achieved by him handing the saber back and saying that it's not his place anymore. Keeping the seriousness of the moment without going for a cheap laugh

Based on the main complaints I’ve seen from fans I’d guess most of the film would be Snoke giving a 30 minute monologue explaining his backstory while Luke does cool shit with a lightsaber in the background
